Student Services Specialist

Kevin Thibbles Immigration Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Services Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students navigating the immigration process and ensuring their academic and personal success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support and guidance to students throughout the immigration process, including application preparation and follow-up.
• Develop and deliver workshops and information sessions on immigration-related topics, such as study permit application procedures and maintaining immigration status.
• Collaborate with academic advisors and other student support services to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data on student immigration cases and provide regular reports to management.
• Respond to student inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay current on immigration policies and procedures and proactively identify potential issues or concerns that may affect students.
• Participate in community events and outreach activities to promote the services offered by Kevin Thibbles Immigration Services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Student Services, Immigration Law, or International Education.
• At least 3 years of experience in student support services, immigration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of immigration policies and procedures, including study permits, work permits, and permanent residency.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including international students, is an asset.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another language is an asset.
