Suncors Q4 Profit Rises To 274 Billion Hikes Dividend 11

Suncor Energy (SU) has reported that its fourth-quarter profits rose 76% to $2.74 billion and announced that it is lifting its quarterly dividend by 11% to $0.52 a share. The Calgary-based energy company said its Q4 profit increased from the $1.55 billion earned in the same period of 2021 due to higher prices for crude and refined oil products. Suncor reported that its earnings amounted to $1.81 per share, compared to $0.89 a share a year ago.
